Initial Situation
In spring 2007, the founder and CEO of a Swiss training institution was looking for modern training tools for the education of project managers, which enable a practical and realistic trainings. At that point, he was only offering traditional in-class training, which was starting to lose attractivity as it was considered to be less dynamic.
He was looking for tools that were:

Time saving and user-friendly

Why STS was chosen
STS always prefers to start a potential collaboration by having a personal discussion with the future partner. The aim is to understand how their business works and how STS’s products can help the company to grow. STS quickly understood that the aim was to be able to offer a training which would stand-out from the mass and allows the company to provide a variety of tools without having to invest in their development.
The advantage of entering a partnership is not only to be able to respond to various types of RFPs, but also to enlarge the coverage of the market. Becoming an STS partner means, having access to tools, which are constantly up-to-date and to the corresponding support. It also means to be able to brand the products with one’s own logo, which makes sense if the partner wants to keep his visual identity. As STS is an Authorized Training Partner from the Project Management Institute (PMI®), partners can benefit from this status to uplift their own offer. Another important aspect is that STS offers not only the project simulation SimulTrain®, but also e-Learning courses for different seniority levels, simulators for the preparation of different certifications in project management and assessment tools which can be used before or after a training to evaluate current needs or training outcomes.
Current situation
Since STS was the only provider offering the access to this kind of products and service level, the partnership was concluded and still ongoing. Both parties have constructed a great relationship and improve each others business constantly.
Thanks to this partnership, the business grew, the offer expanded and the overall feedback about the trainings increased significantly.
